I. Set your hearts on things above 1. How did the author remind Colossian believers of their new status? (1a, 2:12-13; 2 Cor 5:17) What life-direction must they have? (1b,2) What does it mean to “set one’s heart and mindâ€? [In Greek, “set your hearts/minds on†means “seek.â€] (Mt 6:33; Heb 3:1; Ro 8:5-7) What are the things above? (1c; 2:8; Ph 4:8)? 2.
